ELA Container Offshore delivered seven living quarters and two stairway containers to Tiefbau GmbH Unterweser in Oldenburg.

Each ELA living quarter generates living space for two people with a shared sanitary unit and is additionally equipped with high- quality LCD televisions.

The containers will be used for the windpark project ‘Gemini OWF’ located 55km north of the island of Schiermonnikoog in the Dutch North Sea. After completion the windpark will produce around 600MW. TAGU carries out the cable transport and installation in the shallow water area, from Eemshaven Port, The Netherlands, to approximately 15km north to the island of Schiermonnikoog island direction, in the Dutch North. The main equipment used in the procedure is the Vetag 8 cable lay barge, on which the accommodation containers are installed for the employees.

"We are highly satisfied with the quality of the containers, the smoothly process of our order and the delivery of the containers," said Dierk Neuhaus, project manager of TAGU Tiefbau GmbH Unterweser.

Project execution started in March 2015 and is expected to finish summer 2015.

ELA Offshore containers are available for rent and sale, therefore the customer can decide which option is the best for him. Also TAGU Tiefbau GmbH Unterweser benefits from this offer as they are renting the living quarters and have bought the stairway containers.

"Since the customer has the choice between renting and buying, he is more flexible. Therefore, both sides can benefit," says Hans Gatzemeier, managing director of ELA Container Offshore.
