In addition to providing accommodation, catering and housekeeping services for hook-up and maintenance activities, the managed fleet of jack-up units is able to support the following operations:
Both shore-based staff and marine crew are qualified, fully-trained and quality and safety-conscious professionals, determined to accommodate client needs and support client activities. After all, that is Workfox's core business.
Since 1991, Workfox has been the exclusive manager responsible for the operation of the Seafox fleet, currently consisting of five jack-up platforms. The self-elevating accommodation and maintenance support units are all specifically designed and built to operate in harsh offshore environmental conditions. The various units can accommodate up to 235 personnel on-board (POB) in single and double cabins and meets the latest high standards of hygiene and comfort.
After recent major upgrades, the Seafox units comply with latest North Sea standards and legislation. The current high standard of the accommodation and all related facilities is maintained through a continuous welfare improvement program, which is compiled and monitored in co-operation with the clients. With sufficient free deck space and multiple cranes, the units are capable of operating year-round in water depths of up to 45m.
On behalf of owners, Workfox also offers a flexible rental package for temporary accommodation units / living quarters (TLQs) for offshore locations and onboard ships. These TLQs are Lloyd’s certified and comply with all relevant governmental and class specifications.
The units have been designed for offshore oil and gas production sites and are capable of withstanding severe offshore environmental conditions. They are suitable for three-high stacking, with an A-60 fire safety rating, Zone 2 classification, equipped with overpressure, an AC unit, fire and gas detection and emergency exits.
Combining comfort with practical efficiency, the recently-built TLQs are a proven concept to fulfill many client requirements. The units are relatively light (8t), have a small footprint (6.3m × 3.2m × 2.9m), are easy to ship and position, thus guaranteeing a flexible solution to many accommodation demands. Over many years, the TLQs have been used by a growing number of clients in various locations.
The rental fleet also includes other types of units/quarters, such as offices, recreation, laundry and changing rooms.
