Performance rubber sheeting and reinforced rubber sheeting

WCRP's performance rubber sheeting manufacturing services provide a bespoke solution for every application where it's needed. In consultation with the customer we design and develop sheeting products to meet very specific requirements, recommending a range of oil-resistant, chemically resistant, environmentally resistant, swellable or flame-retardant rubber sheet materials dependent on the service conditions.

Viton (FKM) sheet, nitrile (NBR) sheet and HNBR sheet, amongst others, are manufactured in thin gauges from 300mym upwards and wide widths with a variety of surface finishes or presented in an uncured or semi-cured format. Nomex-reinforced viton or Kevlar-reinforced HNBR sheeting products are recommended where high operating temperatures and mechanical strength requirements are encountered, which is particularly valuable in offshore applications.

Our 'sheet construction' knowledge and capability is extensive and provides an almost infinite number of possibilities determined by the product's operational requirements. From an ultra-thin single-ply rubber sheet, sheeting products are constructed in numerous stratas or layers to give a composite rubber sheet capable of displaying a wide range of inherent properties, often on opposing faces exposed to contrasting service conditions.

Backed up by a fully equipped development laboratory and delivered through a comprehensive sheet-form rubber product production facility housed 'under-one-roof', our rubber-coated fabrics are specified for the toughest applications.

Elastomeric spread-coated materials are manufactured in the UK on multiple lines and supported by wet-mixing and dipping facilities designed and proven to deliver the critical bond between rubber and cloth. Our unique facility allows us to 'calender top' spread fabrics producing high-quality heavy-coated fabrics or elastomer engineered fabrics via a controlled and efficient process route.

Our experience and expertise extends across a wide variety of materials with glass cloths and open weave nylon scrim substrates being commonly utilised in the oil and gas service industries. Coatings range from performance flouro and perflouro elastomers through to high-quality neoprene and natural rubber compounds. Product specifications are fully customisable with products available cured or uncured and delivered in formats to suit the customer.
