Ebo Systems specialises in the design and manufacture of GRP (glass reinforced polyester) profiles for the support and installation of electric cables. Products include pultruded profiles, cable trays and cable ladders, pressmoulded cable trays and ground ducts, a stand system and fixing and support systems available in stainless steel and GRP.

Established in 1959, Ebo is based at Villers-La-Montagne in the North East of France and uses both hot pressing and pultrusion fabrication techniques.

Ebo Systems has been ISO 9001 registered since 1994.

Ebo Systems challenges the harsh environment in the offshore industry (high humidity, extreme temperatures, strong UV exposure, explosive zone 0 areas) and offers dedicated GRP (glass reinforced polyester) solutions against corrosion:

• Pultruded profiles - PR series, for the realisation of light structures, gratings, hand rails, steps, ladders with safety cages
• Pressmoulded cable trays - K² series, a cable tray system built for flexibility: more than 15 dimensions in cable trays to adapt to your constraints, an exceptional quick installation due to fast interlocking, a fitting system which allows all configurations
• Pultruded cable trays - KP series, the ideal cable tray solution for your applications in aggressive environments: very high mechanical resistance for supporting distances greater than 3m, suited products to facilitate the implementation, a reliable and quick installation per clipsable connector plates
• Pultruded cable ladders - UL series, for "heavy duty" applications: on site mounting due to a clipsable and patented rung system, products adapted to 6m supporting distances
• Fixing and support systems, a complete range available either in GRP or in stainless steel 316

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Ebo Systems uses high-performance production tools: special tool-steels, heated and constantly regulated for optimum production. Two fabrication techniques are used:

Hot pressing: This pressmoulded technique based in composite materials allows production on request. The fabrication cycle permits the production of a complete range of cable trays, fittings and extensive accessories.

Pultrusion: Pultrusion is an industrial technique that permits continuous production of profiles in composite materials. This process allows the build up of different profiles with various cross sections and variable thickness. The length of the profiles is unlimited.
