“The last critical part of the tunnel work is finished, which is why we can now plan the next couple of years with greater certainty,” says Örjan Larsson, project manager of the Citytunnel.
The Citytunnel is a railway project that will affect the entire Öresund region. The tunnel will create a fast and efficient connection from the major rail routes of the Southern main line and the West Coast main line to the Öresund Bridge, as well as to the Ystad and Trelleborg lines.
The Citytunnel project will make journeys easier for rail passengers by providing more stations, fewer changes and shorter travelling times. It will also make it possible for more trains to pass through the city.
The construction of the Citytunnel will mean that a greater number of people will be able to leave their cars at home. Travelling to work, and to cultural and entertainment events in the region, will be simplified.
For the three stations, Triangel, Hyllie and Malmö C, the company Skanska has used Fleximark customized plastic and Flexilabel cable marking. Plastic cable marking is delivered together with UV-protected character holders and quality cable ties in polyamide that are ready to be mounted. Flexilabel is halogen-free polyester marking, which can be ordered both customised or printed on a regular laser printer.
Printing the marking labels is not that hard. Together with the software Flexisoft and a regular laser printer, the printing almost works by itself.
