JDR offers a diverse range of subsea and marine cables, and umbilical systems to suit a number of applications. These high-performance products are engineered and manufactured in-house from raw materials and specially selected components. Strategically located facilities in every region worldwide house state-of-the-art extrusion and twisting plant, well-equipped assembly halls and fully integrated testing and qualification systems.

JDR offers a broad range of cable services, including plain cable testing to complete system repairs. The company has close links between the OST and project departments to ensure a rapid cable service.

Inter-turbine array cables for offshore windfarms

JDR engineers, manufactures and delivers subsea power and optical cables for the growing offshore alternative energy market. The UK-based facility at Hartlepool produces inter-array and island link power cables and export cables for wave and tidal stream energy.

Subsea power cables

JDR's superior product range of IWO CS umbilicals are custom designed, built in-house, tested to simulate deployment stresses and backed up by fully integrated installation support and service programmes.

Workover reeler / spool packages

JDR's single source option for subsea completion activities includes in-process qualification testing and certification to industry standards, and a dedicated mobile team of service support personnel on hand to test, flush and repair the unit and associated umbilicals.

Specialised umbilicals for subsea facilities

JDR is a key provider of subsea isolation valve (SSIV) umbilical systems. SSIV umbilicals can comprise both hydraulic and electrical functionality to hydraulically shut the valve in the event of an emergency within the pipeline, and electrically to monitor the closure of the valves as verification that the valves are closed. All JDR umbilicals, cables, subcomponent hoses, leads and jumper assemblies are completed in-house with integrated terminations, providing a fully tested, flushed turnkey system. Mechanical stab-plates, armour bodies, junction boxes, couplings and bend limiter systems are routinely designed, engineered and fitted to satisfy client requirements.
