Silver Fox - Labelling Solutions for Cable Labels, Cable Tags, Wire Markers, Pipe Markers and Valve Tags

Silver Fox manufactures cable labels, cable tags and wire markers. The cable labelling is produced using powerful web-downloadable label software (Labacus Innovator). This labelling software is also web-updateable, which ensures you are always using the latest version for maximum ease and biggest time savings.

Labelling software for electrical and instrument (E&I) cables

There are three levels of Silver Fox labelling software for cables – Standard, Advanced and Professional.

Standard labelling software can be downloaded for free from the Silver Fox website and offers basic functionality. Download this through the link at the bottom of the page.

Advanced labelling software is bundled with the Standard label software, and can be downloaded for a six-day trial, free of charge. Powerful functionality includes .csv and cut/paste import, integrated thermal printer driver, context-sensitive help module and automatic web-update module. Professional labelling software includes the Advanced software functionality plus unique spreadsheet manipulation, enabling the engineer to extract/manipulate information from CAD reports, and for example, produce cross-ferruling wire markers in seconds.

Cable labels and cable tags

Silver Fox offers a special range of tie-on cable labels, print up to 60 cable tags in 15 seconds, with A4 sheets through standard office laser printer. No special equipment required. All cable markers have been tested for high and low temperature salt mist, humidity, and H2S.

For over 10 years electrical engineers have taken advantage of the Silver Fox Legend range of tie-on cable tags in countries such as: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kazakhstan, USA, UK.

Used in conjunction with the Silver Fox Label software (Labacus Innovator) these labels represent an exceptionally fast and easy way to label cables (see image 2).

Heatshrink (shrink-down) cable labels and wire markers

Our unique ‘Plug’N’Play’ thermal printer driver can be incorporated into Silver Fox label software (advanced and professional), which makes printing heatshrink wire markers and cable labels really easy - up to six rolls of heatshrink/shrink-down can be printed at the same time.

Continuous rolls also mean the engineer can select length of the label/tag, thus saving valuable heatshrink (see image 3).

Wrap-round self-laminating cable labels

Silver Fox offers a full range of data and telecom labels, including wrap-round self-laminating cable labels. This is also from the same Labacus Innovator Label software. Cable labels are available in A4 for standard office laser or in rolls for use with the Silver Fox ‘Plug’N’Play’ thermal printer.

Non-shrink wire markers

Silver Fox also offers non-shrink tubing for wire marking, which operates through the same Plug’N’Play thermal printer as the Silver Fox Heatshrink. Non-shrink wire markers offer the benefit of even lower cost wire markers with the speed of heatshrink.

Print up to six rolls at a time ensuring rapid production of wire markers. Silver Fox Labeling software (Labacus Innovator) allows the user to choose the length of the cable label or wire marker. Coupled with the extra speed from printing multi-rolls of cable labels or wire tags this gives total flexibility (see image 4).

Two-part wire marking

Silver Fox offers special two-part wire markers, which can print up to 75 wire markers in 15 seconds, with A4 sheets through a standard office laser printer. No special equipment required.

Alternatively choose rolls to print wire markers through the Silver Fox ‘Plug’N’Play’ thermal printer.

Either way, these wire markers mean the engineer can change indentation after installation without cutting off the wire, which saves valuable project time (see image 5).

Process pipeline identification

Silver Fox also produces highly durable pipe marker solutions, including self-adhesive pipe-marking tape supplied in any color or a set of colors with any message. Pipe IDs made from polycarbonate that snap onto the pipes are also available.

Stainless-steel tie-raps

Silver Fox’s stainless-steel ties, either coated or uncoated, are new to our product range. Traditionally called PVC-coated stainless ties, these are actually coated in polyester, which makes them exceptionally durable. Our stainless ties are also very competitively priced.
