Marin-Innovasjon is a specialist in the development of real-time data logging and control systems in addition to electronics design and development. Since 2007 Marin-Innovasjon has focused on high-temperature electronics, and developed a variety of electronics for downhole use, including DC-DC converters, controllers, wireline modems and motor controllers.
With extensive experience related to development and operation of subsea vehicles, and detailed knowledge about electronics and microcontrollers, Marin-Innovasjon is capable of handling high-tech projects onshore, offshore, subsea and downhole.
Marin-Innovasjon has focused its electronics development mainly towards high-temperature electronics. We are constantly developing and testing high-temperature electronics components and designs, and can provide advanced solutions for temperatures up to 200ÂșC. Our high-temperature product range includes:
Extreme temperatures require hard-testing of the electronics. We can provide:
We provide all services related to electronics design needed to turn an idea into a product. This includes circuit design, layout, assembly and testing of prototypes. The production of large quantities will be set out to external vendors. Our services include:
Marin-Innovasjon has developed a wide range of control systems and user interfaces for well intervention tools, subsea remote operated vehicles (ROVs), as well as more standard industry / production systems.
In recent years Marin-Innovasjon has delivered many real-time systems, where all data is time stamped and synchronised, either by means of GPS or SNTP/NTP. The systems will achieve an absolute accuracy of ~2-5 microseconds using GPS, while SNTP/NTP is in the millisecond range. These systems can either be located centrally for direct streaming to user interface, or distributed around the world, but still provide correlative data.
TrackLog is a small and compact data logger, with multiple application areas. It can either be used as a standalone data logger (no need for external power), as a sensor package (streaming data to a PC or equivalent), or as a blackbox recording data based on trigger levels (vibration, temperature, depth, etc).
Data downloading and battery charging is executed through a standard mini USB connector. Recording of up to one year is possible on a single charge.
Two different models are provided: one for subsea use (3,000msw), and one for onshore use (IP67).
