Pentair has launched a new release of its Raychem TraceCalc Pro v2.8 Windows desktop software.
Updates include:
- New MI cable references added to bridge resistance gaps, enabling better power match in design
- Review of heat sink adders, helping to reduce the amount of cable required for installation
- Update to insulation material properties, resulting in improved heat loss calculations
The cumulative effect of all these changes is a first step for a more optimised design outcome and improved constructability.
