Once again Accoat will cooperate with WeST Group from Norway and DuPont in order to promote and spread the word about the coating of oil tubes used in down hole production tubing with StreaMax™.
DuPont™ StreaMax™ - flow enhancement
StreaMax™, which is developed by DuPont, has specifically been developed for the purpose of coating oil pipes, resulting in reduced friction between oil and pipe compared to untreated conventional pipes. The result is less need for maintenance which again reduces the amount of energy used. Furthermore, the reduced need for maintenance prevents production stops, which will be of economical advantage for the oil companies.

Offshore Europe is one of the biggest oil and gas exhibition events in Europe and consists of both an exhibition and conference. It is held every other year, which is why Accoat also joined OE in 2007 and 2009. We will of course be back in 2013 too.
