Anti-corrosion coatings for pipeline protection

Fusion bond epoxy (FBE) coating, the North American standard, is an environmentally safe thermoset coating used to protect pipelines from corrosion. FBE coating, also known as powder coating, is an epoxy-based powder coating widely used to protect steel pipes used in pipeline construction, piping connections and valves from corrosion. 

Three-layer polyolephin coatings for oil and gas pipelines

Bayou also offers three-layer polyolephin coatings, the global standard coating for oil and gas pipelines.

Inner diameter coating for pipelines

Bayou also provides coating for the inner diameter (ID) of pipelines. These ID coatings are used to improve the flow of gas through the pipeline by creating a smooth, defect-free surface. They also protect pipelines against corrosion, increase throughput, and insulate electrically heated pipe-in-pipe lines, reducing both wax and hydrate formation.

Concrete weight coating

Concrete weight coating (CWC) is a plant-applied coating used to provide negative buoyancy for offshore pipelines or for river and road crossing applications. Bayou's mobile plants have the capability of handling projects across the world.

Custom coating services for pipes

Bayou's subsidiary, Commercial Coating Services International (CCSI), has the ability to internally and externally coat pipe ends, fittings, fabricated spools, valves and short runs of straight pipe for oil, gas and potable water services. CCSI has extensive experience and completes over 1,600 projects annually. 

As a leader in the field joint anti-corrosion coating industry, with more than two million field joints coated worldwide and one of the world’s largest fleets of field joint coating systems, CCSI has completed projects all over the world, including in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, North and South America, and Mexico. In addition, projects have been completed in the Black Sea, North Sea and Mediterranean Sea.

Pipeline logistics services

Strategically located on the Gulf Coast in Louisiana and in western Canada, Bayou offers convenient staging yards for all onshore and offshore projects.

Among Bayou's strongest assets is its unique ability to safely accommodate the most challenging pipe-handling situations and its strategic access to multiple modes of transportation. Bayou's facilities are stocked with enough equipment and handling personnel to professionally accommodate the most taxing of projects. In addition, its capabilities include access for barge, rail and truck loading and unloading.

Welding services

Since 1942, Bayou has been providing welding services. Today, it provides a full array of fabrication capabilities for the oil, gas, energy and mining markets. Its experienced staff is qualified in mulitiple flow-line welding procedures used in production. 

Delta Double Jointing, a Bayou company, also provides pipe jointing services at the coating yards or pipe staging yards in the field.
