Environmental Protection Engineering (EPE) completed the production and delivery of aluminium bracelet anodes for the Gudrun project on behalf of Statoil Petroleum in September 2011.
EPE produced and delivered two types of anodes, which were 12in for oil export pipeline and 14in for gas export pipeline. The anodes were bracelet welded, and electrical continuity with pipe via copper cable, square-ended anodes.
EPE designs and manufactures its anodes under the registered trademark Polcor®. The zinc and aluminium sacrificial anodes are produced in the company's factory in Greece.
The production of anodes complies with the highest internationally approved standards of quality, safety and is environmental friendly. The factory operates in accordance to the internationally approved standards and practices, and quality control management specifications as defined in ISO9001:2000, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001:2004. The production capacity of EPE is over 8,000t annually.
