Vampire Production engaged Houlder to design a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel to work on new and marginal oil fields.
Houlder provided the detailed design of a modular pipelay deck and seatings for support of the flexible pipelay equipment on the new-build vessel Normand Seven.
As part of a major upgrade, Houlder was contracted by BP Exploration on a turnkey basis to supply a 100t subsea equipment skidding system on the Byford Dolphin Rig.
Houlder won the contract to design, develop and fabricate four telescopic ROPS arms for Aker Kvaerner's two Aker H-6e semi-submersible rigs.
