Keppel FELS - Design, Engineering and Construction

Established in 1967, Keppel FELS Limited is today the leading designer and builder of sophisticated mobile offshore drilling rigs.

As the wholly owned offshore arm of Keppel Offshore and Marine (KOM), Keppel FELS has at its disposal a strategic network of 17 KOM yards worldwide - allowing it to practice a "near market - near customer" strategy.

THE GLOBAL LEADER IN MOBILE OFFSHORE DRILLING RIG DESIGN

With a growing pool of repeat customers, technological leadership, and a committed workforce, Keppel FELS strengthens its position as the provider of choice and partner in solutions for design and engineering solutions, shipyard services and products to the offshore oil and gas industries and to customers operating in diverse offshore environments.

Through proprietary technology, engineering expertise and execution skills, it is the world leader in the construction of jack-up rigs, having built almost 60% of jack-ups on order in the last decade.

It offers a suite of proprietary rig designs such as the KFELS A Class, KFELS B Class, KFELS C Class and KFELS N Class jack-up, as well as semi submersibles - including the new generation DSS-series semi-submersibles and tension leg platforms to meet the needs of customers in deepwater drilling operations.

With its world-class facilities and apart from designing and building jack-up and semi-submersible drilling units, Keppel FELS also designs and builds floating production systems and highly sophisticated offshore support vessels.

With an enviable track record for accident free, on-time, on-budget and quality deliveries and coupled with a highly skilled workforce, Keppel FELS will continually build on this reputation as the preferred partner for the world’s offshore oil and gas industry.

It also converts, upgrades and repairs mobile offshore drilling units and floating production systems.
