Spill response kits and absorbent products

Spill response kits are available in a wide variety of configurations to suit your specific requirements. We have spill kits available for both oil and chemical spills. The spill kits are designed to enable your personnel to respond quickly to a spill incident. Environmental spill response kits are now considered essential to ensure that your organisation is fulfilling its environmental duty of care obligation.

Don't be fooled by cheap spill kits and absorbents, which are low in absorbent quantity and quality and will not provide you with the equipment required to respond to emergencies. Our spill kits are designed to handle various types of spills of various sizes and are loaded with high quality absorbents to ensure you comply with your environmental duty of care.

Oil spill containment booms

Our oil spill containment booms are manufactured by Elastec American Marine, the largest manufacturer of spill control products in North America. The containment booms are high quality and exceed customer expectations for offshore, near shore, fast current rivers and calm water applications.

Design ingenuity, product quality and customer satisfaction are built into every containment boom we sell. All booms have filament reinforced with welded end seams; ballast chains are bolted to resist boom wear; tension cables are sheathed in vinyl and booms feature international standard end connectors.

The Maximax containment boom is ideal for rapid deployment and oil containment in a variety of operations. This style of boom has low storage volume and can therefore be stored on pallets or wound up on reels. The Optimax II containment boom is a versatile boom used in environments where current is a factor. The Simplex containment boom is a lightweight, industry standard oil containment boom. This inexpensive boom features a high buoyancy reserve.

Oil skimmer systems

Bulbeck also offers a selection of oil skimmer systems to suit a variety of conditions. These include diesel hydraulic power packs and helical screw pumps as well as a range of Magnum, TDS and Mini Max skimmers.

Our range of Elastec oil skimmers are selective and attract only the oil leaving the water behind. The oil skimmers have recovery capacities from 80l/min to 1,350l/min. The oil recovery skimmers are available in pneumatic or hydraulic drive. The skimmers are ideal for clean up in API separators, creeks, rivers, lakes and the ocean.

Portable incinerators

Bulbeck EnviroSolutions is the Australian distributor for Elastec / American Marine who manufacture a variety of portable incinerators, including the Oil Away attachment for oil disposal. Smart Heat for energy recovery incineration is also available.

Spill response training

Our training consists of two levels: toolbox training, which includes knowledge of all spill control products on your site as well as the seven steps to cleaning up a spill, and environmental awareness and spill kit induction. This second level is aimed at the general employee and will provide the necessary environmental training to address your due diligence requirements in product identification and correct clean up methods.

This course is conducted on your site and individual certificates are issued following the completion of a basic competency test.
