FTE-SORB AND BIOREMEDIATION

FTE-Sorb is designed to absorb, digest and bioremediate hydrocarbon and / or acidic and chemical spillages across different terrain. Suitable for use on dry land, road surfaces, water and swamps, FTE-Sorb meets all environmental and safety standards such as OHSA.

The lightweight nature of FTE-Sorb means that it can easily be spread over both a concentrated and wide area - anything from a motor oil spill in a garage to large-scale beach clean-up operations.

Bioremediation involves the use of micro-organisms to break down pollutants into by-products that are both environmentally friendly and biodegradable. FTE-Sorb contains micro-organisms that not only biologically clean polluted areas but also restore the natural balance of soil nutrients.

OIL CONTAINMENT BOOMS

Through many years experience in cleaning up of oil spills, we have developed our own oil containment boom. These booms get produced in our production facility, for that reason delivery times are very short.

Our Hebo-Sorbents range of oil absorbent rolls and pads can be can be applied to large areas of oil-affected land and water. Pads and rolls are available in a broad range of thicknesses and sizes, ranging from single weight to heavy duty. They can also be trimmed to fit specific spaces. SPILLTECH OIL SPILL RESPONSE KITS

HEBO FTE's Spilltech oil spill response kits contain essential supplies for containing and cleaning up oil spills. The spill kit is waterproof, re-sealable and supplied with plastic gloves and sealable disposal bags. One of our most popular spill kits contains oil absorbent socks / booms and a variety of specialised oil absorbent pads. The total absorption capacity of the materials included in this kit is 1,100L. Various types of spill kits are available, differing in absorption products and absorption capacity. Our oil spill response kits meet all the requirements set out by the IMO resolution A 535/13 and the OPA - settlement, section 4202.
