This month sees the worldwide presentation of the most advanced development of Markleen's Uniboom Seamaster.
The Seamaster series is the latest generation of highly resistant self-inflatable booms. On the new version of the Seamaster, conventional valves have been replaced by an automatic air intake and expulsion mechanism, which makes it the market's fastest and most reliable boom to deploy. This, when combined with the introduction of an improved integral spring system and its exclusive reinforced floatation, makes the Seamaster boom unsinkable.
The boom is manufactured from a PU-PVC blend, giving it an excellent resistance and wave-following characteristics and making it suitable for use in the harshest of environments.
The Seamaster boom is the ideal boom for protecting installations which require speed of action with minimal manpower requirements. It can be stored on a horizontal or vertical boom reel, making it suitable for a wide range of different applications.
The Uniboom Seamaster has been successfully deployed in a number of different scenarios and has been recently chosen by the ADPC (Abu Dhabi Ports Company) to protect its ports against possible oil spills.
