ULTIMATE is not only a top level thermal insulator with a permanent maximum service temperature up to 660°C; it also offers thermal insulation properties that provide a 45% weight reduction in comparison with conventional stone wool solutions of the same thermal performance.

ULTIMATE meets the highest standards for fire protection, ranging from the top level in reaction to fire to excellent fire-resistant qualities. The design of fire-proof decks is becoming increasingly important with the latest generation of offshore platforms, where the ability to prevent fire spread between decks is a crucial element of safety.
