Strategic Marine is pleased to announce the placement of a new building order, by Coastline Maritime Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, for the steel construction of a 143m diving support vessel with Strategic Marine Pty Ltd of Western Australia to be built at Strategic Marine's Vung Tao facility in Vietnam.

The hull, the second of this design, will be built at Strategic Marine's new facility in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Strategic Marine's new facility symbolizes the evolution of the organization which has assembled a skilled team and workforce to service new and existing clients' steel shipbuilding requirements.

The design, the same as the 2003 built Azteca, will be supplied by Coastline Maritime Pte Ltd. The hull once completed will be outfitted by the owners with their own equipment package.

Coastline Maritime Pte Ltd chose Strategic Marine for this project because of their documented world-class track record in project management and previous experience in both offshore projects and in Vietnam.
