Strategic Marine is proud to announce the successful signing of a contract for three new build 40 metre Offshore Utility Vessels Hull. The vessels are to be delivered to our long term client Syarikat Borcos Shipping of Malaysia, taking the total number of vessels sold to Borcos, to nine.

The vessels are to be built in Strategic Marine's Singapore facility, with all pre-fabrication work done from the Western Australian facility in the Australian Marine Complex. Deliver date of the third and final hull is to be August 2008.

Each vessel will be equipped with 4,500 BHP (1 x Cummins KTA 50 and 2 x Cummins KTA 38 Engines), enabling the vessels to reach speeds in excess of 28 knots. With seating for up to 80 rig crew and accommodation for ten vessel crew, these vessels will provide a level of comfort not usually seen in the offshore industry.

History has shown that Strategic Marine produce workboats that are reliable and their repeat business with clients is evidence of that fact.
