This 6.5m-long spud carrier cylinder came to WDH for a complete overhaul.
Besides the overhaul, the customer also requested WDH to modify the cylinder in order to make it suitable for different types of ships.
The cylinder could then serve as a spare cylinder for two different dredging vessels.
WDH changed the design, and after approval from the customer, the new parts were manufactured and the cylinder was assembled, thoroughly tested and delivered to the customer.
