Additional Barrel and Ball Swivels to Diamond Offshore IOS and Oddfjell Drilling

The MoorLink regular barrel swivel forms the standard for Diamond Offshore moored rigs. MoorLink is currently supplying five rig sets for various rigs.
Diamond's aim to standardize its fleet continues by reducing the number of different designs and suppliers. Moorlnk are very proud of beingone of the preferred suppliers to the Diamond Fleet.In addition MoorLink supplied the successful Ball Swivel to Diamonds recent upgrade 'Ocean Monarch'.
As of today, these Ball swivels have been installed and used by 26 deep water drilling rigs. These rigs have a self moored chain wire combination mooring system. Among the operators are Diamond Offshore, Atwood Oceanics, Pride International, Odfjell Drilling, Transocean Deepwater Drilling, GlobalSantaFe and a Sugerland based operator.
