Pull in Socketsfor Heerema Marine Contractors

Heerema Marine Contractors contracted Moorlink in January 2008 for the supply of three special riser pull in sockets to be used for the Perdido Spar riser pull in operation. In less than eight weeks Moorlink performed the design, purchase of high grade forged steel and completed the manufacturing and testing and delivery of the three special sockets.
The socket design is very slim in addition to the detachable pull in head which can be alerted to serve different geometrical restrictions when passing fairlead wheels or other obstacles.
