CUSTOMIZED LOADCELLS

One of our corporate strengths lies in the quick turnaround of custom-designed solutions for load measurement and control. Working in close co-operation with clients, we can design, build, test and install loadcells for unique or unusual applications.

Dozens of bespoke systems have been delivered to the oil and gas market in recent years for example, covering challenging load applications, subsea usage, hazardous area approval, and the like. We deliver projects on time, on budget, and are considered a valued partner by our customers.

STANDARD LOADCELLS

We offer high-quality standard products for common applications (cranes, winches, mooring and general load measurement) using 4mA-20mA sensors and ATEX/Eex certification. Our strain-gauge based technology is well proven, and offers low drift, high accuracy performance. Standard types include shearpin / shackle and tensile loadcells with readouts to suit. OEM PRESSURE SENSORS

We have more than 20 years’ experience as a supplier to the offshore, subsea and industrial markets. Scan-Sense is known for robust, high quality sensors, giving long-term dependable performance in the toughest environments.

Scan-Sense pressure sensors are based on thin film technology with strain gauge diaphragms developed for rugged environments and long-time real-world stability.

Scan-Sense designs all types of OEM pressure sensors from 1bar to 1,200bar.

TOPSIDE AND SUBSEA PRESSURE MEASUREMENT SENSORS

Scan-Sense offers EX-approved sensors according to ATEX directive 94/9/EC, both Exd (EEx d IIC T5) and Exi (EEx ia IIC T4). These sensors are designed for offshore applications with special demands for high quality and long product life. Each pressure management sensor is individually temperature compensated with high accuracy and fast response time from -20°C to +80°C.

Our wing union pressure transmitter is an extremely rugged sensor designed for use with the 2in wing union in the rough and demanding environment of high-pressure applications for both the on and offshore industry.

The Scan-Sense POD-sensor design is extensively qualified according to ISO 13628-6 in cooperation with the world-leading manufacturer of subsea control modules for X-mas trees. Scan-Sense offers special custom design for various customers with special made interface and material selection.

LOAD, PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION

Scan-Sense offers calibration services for load, pressure, temperature and the most common electrical measurements. All our calibration equipment is traceable to national standards. Our hydraulic calibration press generates as much as 1,200t, and is among the biggest in the country. We also offer tension and torque calibration.

PRESSURE CALIBRATION FACILITY

Automatic pressure and temperature cycling is a part of our pressure calibration facility. We offer pressure calibration from 0bar to 2,000bar within temperatures from -30°C to 180°C. Temperature calibration from -40°C below ambient temperature to 650°C covers a wide range in the industry. A time saving, fully automatic temperature lab is used for calibrating our dry block calibrators. Electrical signals such as mA, V and Ω are among the most commonly used. High accuracy standards are a part of our sophisticated range of calibration equipment.

CALIBRATION INSTRUMENTS

Quality demands used to be synonymous with the land-based, marine and offshore industries. Today, approved quality products are important in all industries to satisfy international regulations as well as customers' needs. Measuring temperature and pressure are among the most ­common ­parameters and subsequently very important to achieve the ­required quality of final ­products. Our range of portable temperature and pressure calibrators will fulfill almost every need for field calibration.
