Aanestad Engineering, founded in 1987, delivers lifting equipment, winches and cranes to the Norwegian oil and gas industry. Offering tailor-made, innovative solutions, the company’s product range includes pipehandler cranes, catwalks, and lifts to replace potentially hazardous stairways and ladderways. TURNKEY LIFTING SYSTEMS

Customers’ requirements are the starting point for any project; all lifting systems are adapted to their specific needs. The design department, comprised of highly qualified staff, performs challenging engineering work to take your lift, winch or crane from concept studies through project design. Customers can provide drawings or specifications of a particular problem, and Aanestad will supply turnkey concept solutions.

QUALITY AND SAFETY

A commitment to quality and the safety of both personnel and the environment is evident in Aanestad’s pledge that every piece of lifting equipment it produces be delivered to the NORSOK standard or to customer specifications.

The stresses of the offshore environment require optimal systems and the highest standards for constructions. A complete set of documentation is therefore an essential part of all Aanestad deliveries. In addition, the company utilises only fully qualified technicians for all installation tasks. It is also certified by Achilles.

PEOPLE AND FACILITIES

The company currently has 60 employees. Its plant at Forus near Stavanger in Norway comprises 5,200m² of covered production premises from which Aanestad supplies complete lifting systems from the drawing board to final product. In addition, the company’s sub-suppliers have a large capacity for mechanical production. Some production is also out-sourced to partners in Norway and abroad in order to execute and deliver major projects to meet tight delivery times.

SERVICE

Even products manufactured to the highest possible standards occasionally break. Recognising this fact, Aanestad has highly qualified service personnel available to assist with any eventuality on short notice to ensure continuity.
