AJT Equipment - Horizontal / Vertical Tensile Testing Machines, Loadcells and Load Monitors

AJT Equipment specialises in the manufacture, repair, service and calibration of horizontal and vertical force test machines (pull test beds), loadcells and load monitors. We also calibrate all makes, models and brands of loadcells.

All equipment is traceable to national standards. AJT Equipment operates both nationally and internationally and can supply machines to test samples from single-strand wire up to marine anchor cable. Our facilities enable us to calibrate and test equipment up to 400t tensile and 1,000t compression.

Test machines are designed to customers' specific requirements. In the current technical climate, AJT can design a computer-controlled machine or supply data-acquisition services.

HORIZONTAL / VERTICAL TENSILE TESTING MACHINES

AJT Equipment supplies a wide range of horizontal and vertical tensile testing machines for the offshore industry.

Our Type 177 and 174E testing machines are designed specifically for simple proof load, destruction, cyclic and long-period load testing of all types of materials (subject to gripping options).

The Type 175 vertical tensile test machine is available in two- or four-column options and tension or compression modes. It can be supplied for load simulation projects and the height of the machine can be adjusted to meet customers' specifications.

Although also designed for simple proof load testing, the Type 173E vertical plane tensile testing machine also features an open test bed for the testing of spreader beams and similar items.

LOADCELLS

AJT Equipment manufactures their own brand of loadcells known as Accuways. These are extremely lightweight and easy to use.

Calibration and repairs of all types and capacities of loadcells, loadlinks, and weighing devices are traceable to National Standards and are to ± 1M of the applied load.

KMM LOAD MONITOR

The KMM load monitor has recently been designed to enable the linearisation of load measurement devices. It can be used on new systems, but was designed to enable maximum use and high levels of accuracy from existing loadcells and transducers.

This load monitor system has proven to be cost-effective in the modification of existing machines that would previously have required complete new measurement systems. The KMM monitor has an RS232 connector and optional full data-acquisition facility.

TMIR / SMIR

AJT Equipment has recently released an addition to their own well-known brand of Accuways loadcells. These new units are manufactured with an integrated LCD display that is operated from an infrared control. The unit can therefore be operated from ground level without the confines of a signal cable. The display reacts from the handheld control to give on/off, tare and peak facilities.
