Alatas Crane Services Worldwide provides a wide range of crane services for the offshore oil and gas industry, from design and parts supply through to commissioning and service. Formed in 1989, Alatas now has a worldwide crane network with offices in Dubai, Germany, Hong Kong, Panama, Singapore, the UK and the US.

Offshore crane parts

Offshore crane parts are sourced directly from the component producers by our cost cutting team. Alatas supplies original crane parts, identical to the parts supplied by the crane manufacturer, offering savings on the majority of parts. In some cases, quality alternatives are available. Both original and replacement parts can be quoted for if required. Obsolete crane parts can also be repaired or remanufactured, ensuring the continuity of older machines.

Complete offshore crane engineering services

Alatas provides engineers, surveyors, technicians and other support staff from our offices around the world, both at short notice for emergency repairs or for planned projects, including dry dockings, refurbishments and other scheduled crane assignments.

Alatas engineers are factory-trained professionals with extensive crane backgrounds in Fukushima, Hagglund, Hydralift, Liebherr, MacGregor, Mitsubishi, NMF, LMG, O&K, Tsuji and TTS models.

Crane hydraulic services

Alatas repairs and refurbishes hydraulic pumps and motors in state-of-the-art workshops. All units are tested for efficiency and performance; regulators and settings are calibrated according to the manufacturers' data. Test reports are issued with each repair. All parts are genuine and all units are tested to the manufacturers' specifications and supplied with warranty. Housings are engraved and nameplates updated to ensure full traceability. Alatas offers a range of service exchange hydraulic pumps and motors that are fully tested and ready for immediate dispatch.

Alatas also provide offshore crane hose container workshops, which are designed to include all the required equipment to make complete crane hose changeouts as quick and simple as possible.

Crane gearbox and winch services

Alatas offers overhaul of offshore crane gearboxes, winches, hydraulic cylinders and slewing gearboxes. This service improves on long delivery times quoted by the original manufacturers. Gearbox repairs and winch repairs can be completed in approximately four to six weeks with gear cutting, hardening and grinding, nitriding and the manufacturing of obsolete bearings available in-house.

Crane engineering and design

Alatas provides experienced, competent and specialised crane design and structural engineers for crane replacements, repairs, upgrades, inspections, re-certification and crane failure investigations.

Offshore crane sales

Alatas can source and provide many different types of offshore cranes for a wide range of applications and uses. Alatas has secured the sales agencies for many major crane manufacturers' and provides additional services to complement crane sales including: transportation, installation supervision, technical modifications and full service backup.
