EMCE has added some new winches complete with fairleads to its rental fleet.

The sets can be used for J-tube riser cable or pipe pulling applications for offshore platform or offshore windmill riser applications.

The specifications are as follows:

20 TON WINCHES

  • A working Load Limit of 26430 kg in the bottom layer / 20000 kg in the top layer
  • A variable line speed of 10 m/min in the top layer
  • Fleet distance : minimal 15 m. (distance between drum centreline and centreline first sheave)
  • A drum capacity of 300 meter cable with diameter 34 mm in 5 layers
  • Cable anchor: one wedge and socket rope anchor at flange Gearbox specification: high quality industrial right angle three stage planetary gear
  • Motor specification: 45 kW S1, 400 VAC / 3 ph. / 50 Hz./ aluminium
  • Brake specification: author electromagnetic brake (holdingforce 1,5 x SWL)
  • Weight ~4155 kg. without wire rope

Two off electrical panels including low voltage (24 VAC) IP 65 pendant remote controller with pushbutton controls for up, down and red mushroom type emergency stop, complete with five meter cable between pendant and panel. Panel further comprises of a thermal overload relay and control contactors. Protection class IP 66 and built according to NEN 1010. Provided onto a heavy duty lifting frame with forklift pockets for easy handling. Cabling between winch and controls can be included if requested, length to be advised.

20 TON FAIRLEADS WITH SUB FRAME

Two off 20 Ton swivel fairleads mounted onto base frame suitable for vertical lowering of load. The fairleads is fitted with a 100 ton load pin and readout unit for actual static and dynamic load readouts. RS 232 output available for datalogging.
