Maximum Performance in a Compact Design

With the relaunch of the Profi TI series in the 250kg to 2t carrying capacity range, J.D. Neuhaus has optimised the entire JDN Profi industrial series over the past two years and set new standards in air hoists.

The same patented motor brake system used in the JDN mini and Profi 3 TI to 20 TI series is now also the core of the Profi series, with carrying capacities of 250kg, 500kg, 1t and 2t. The practical design helps to consistently reduce the number of components and provide cost-effective, low-maintenance operation. Efficient manufacturing processes and state-of-the-art machining centres guarantee low costs and high quality. Performance has been improved by 10% compared with the previous Profi TS series. For the user, this means greater efficiency thanks to improved reliability and faster lifting speeds. In addition, the small Profi models have been classified in drive group 1 Am (in accordance with ISO / FEM). The theoretical operating time for load spectrum 2 (average) is thus 3,200hs. This corresponds to 800 full-load hours.

A reduced noise pressure level means reduced noise exposure in the workplace and improved occupational and industrial safety. Similar benefits are provided by the overload protection, which comes as standard with models from 1t upwards. The standard equipment also includes a main air emergency-stop valve, which can be used to shut off the energy feed separately in an emergency.

The small Profi models do not require any additional motor lubrication. This is due to the fact that the rotor of the vane motor has chambers filled with high-quality grease continuously lubricating the motor during operation. The lubricant does not escape into the environment. This development has already been patented by JDN.

The modern design means that the Profi has no protruding control hoses or elements which could be damaged, making it suitable even for horizontal pulling.

Thanks to the drive medium being compressed air (4bar or 6bar), the duty rating is 100%. The small Profi models do not therefore require any waiting. Their compressed air drive also makes them suitable for use in explosion-hazardous areas. The explosion grouping according to EC Directive 94/9/EEC (Atex 100a) is “Ex II 2 GD IIA T4(X)/II 3 GD IIB T4(X)” for the standard version and “Ex II 2 GD IIC T4(X)” with increased spark protection.

The applications are thus virtually unlimited. Whether it’s in the chemical industry, on an oil rig, in a foundry or in a ship’s engine room, the Profi has the power to do the job.
