Offshore cranes and fabrication

Offshore cranes are OGM's speciality. Having fabricated more than 20 in the past five years, including a 20t gantry crane – one of North Australia's largest locally built cranes – we are proud of our reputation in the industry.

DNV-standard offshore containers

We fabricate and design offshore containers to DNV standards. The company additionally offers heavy steel-fabricated modules for the oil and gas industry.

Pressure vessels, tanks, platforms and skids

We provide offshore pressure vessels and tanks, platforms, top drives and bop skids.

Gearbox rebuilds

We can perform gearbox rebuilds on industrial machinery, such as conveyor belt drives, offshore cable spoolers and cranes.

Offshore machinery maintenance and repairs

Machinery maintenance is also one of our specialities. We have the capability to perform modifications or repairs to existing machinery and we can also create new custom designs.

Welding services for offshore rig maintenance

At OGM, we offer coded welding services of all steel types, with particular focus on rig maintenance, including rig tenders. With our fabrication and machining workshop, complete with a gantry crane, we have the ability to machine to a 1.6m diameter.

Our ABS-qualified and experienced welders ensure steel grades meet ABS requirements. They are also able to undertake pipe welding to ASME IX and AS 3992 standards.

OGM has experience in the fabrication of pig launchers for gas pipelines, BOP platforms and skids, tugger base mounts, stainless-steel tanks and gantry cranes.

Trade services for the offshore industry

OGM can supply fitters and boilermakers with offshore and mine experience, machinists, pipe welders, crane operators, trade assistants and supervisors.

We offer labour hire, sourcing equipment and supplies, equipment hire and logistics for the offshore oil and gas industry.
