The company has acquired one dedicated and two dual-purpose (utility and personnel lifting) winches from Ingersoll Rand’s Force 5i Infinity series, significantly expanding the choice of man-riding models available to clients. This line has gained a worldwide reputation for combining cutting-edge technology and enhanced safety standards with a tough dependability; qualities at the heart of what Rotrex seeks to provide in every situation.
High-tech specifications
An internal gearbox, infinitely variable air motor speeds, precision spotting control at slow speeds and fabricated frame are all standard throughout the Force 5i Infinity range.
The FA5i-MR and FA2i-MR are both dual-rated winches configured for lifting material and personnel, and, along with Ingersoll Rand’s other man-riders, globally renowned as the standard for meeting the toughest requirements in the industry.
The FA5i-MR has a lifting capacity of 5,000kg (11,000lb) and man-riding capacity of 3,123kg (6,870lb), while the FA2i-MR offers a lifting capacity of 2,000kg (4,400lb) and man-riding capacity of 1,445kg (3,180lb). The FA2.5i is a lifting winch offering 2,273kg (5,000lb) capacity.
All three models have been designed to provide maximum safety and reliability, while optimising savings on time and space, even in extreme conditions.
