17 June 2009

SAL was entrusted to transport two reactors of 941mton and 955mton and a length of 47.8m each from Kobe, Japan, to New Orleans and Corpus Christi, US.

MV Regine carried out the loading operation in May. The cargo was brought alongside the vessel's port side by barge, and the lifting operation of both reactors was performed in a tandem lift. For the operation SAL used four pieces of the vessel's own 300mton shackles and 373mton grummets.
