OFFSHORE, HAZARDOUS LOCATION, DIESEL-POWERED LIGHT TOWER PACKAGE

The Bossltg offshore hazardous location light tower was designed for endurance using heavy-gauge steel with corrosion-resistant galvanized and stainless steel metal materials. The floodlights are hazardous-area rated for marine / oilfield applications. Features incorporated within the design ensure personnel safety and enduring product performance. The unit is designed for operations in the most extreme offshore corrosive and hazardous environments.

• Floodlights: 400W metal halide fixtures, rated for marine duty, salt water, hazardous location, Class 1 - Division 11, Group CD
• Electrical: all electrical wiring enclosures, plugs, receptacles and switches are rated for Class 1 - Division 1, Group CD
• Engine: Caterpillar #3011 water-cooled diesel engine complete with spark arrestor muffler; the muffler is wrapped in a heat absorbing blanket
• Battery marine enclosure: corrosion resistant insulation protection coating on all 12V terminal connections
• Safety vital engine shutdowns include: emergency air-inlet stop valve, low oil-level and high-temperature operating level shutdowns
• Generator: 6,000W, brushless, 120V, 50Hz / 60Hz, 1,500rpm / 1,800rpm

HAZARDOUS LOCATION (INLAND), DIESEL-POWERED, LIGHT TOWER PACKAGE

The Bossltg trailer-mounted hazardous-location light tower was designed to help improve safety when using a diesel-powered light tower within a potentially dangerous oilfield environment.

Using 1,000W metal halide fixtures and a 6,000W generator, this light tower will illuminate between five and seven acres with high levels of intensely concentrated light on the target areas.

The single-axle, galvanized trailer frame is 3,500lb rated and has a five-point outrigger system with towing package. The 50-gallon fuel tank provides for 100hrs of operating time.

6kW TO 600kW DIESEL-POWERED, OFFSHORE / MARINE GEN-SET PACKAGES

Bossltg offers a wide selection of skid-mounted, cage-protected, gen-set packages for the offshore and marine oil industries. From 6kW to 600kW, we can build a gen-set package to meet the operating requirements of our clients. Generating voltages range from 600VAC to 120VAC, 50Hz / 60Hz. Distribution for these voltages can be specially designed for application requirements. Bossltg is a UL approved electrical assembler. Special electrical distribution requirements can easily be included to all Bossltg gen-set packages.

PORTABLE OFFSHORE / MARINE, EXPLOSION-PROOF FLOODLIGHTING PACKAGE

The explosion-proof, 400W (rated Class1 - Division 1, Group CD marine / saltwater approved) metal halide offshore floodlighting package can be used with a lightweight (25lb) aluminum cart or clamped to a rigging structure. 250ft of lamp cord provides mobility for the cart or if attaching to elevated positions above the working area.

The package illuminates an area of over 20,000ft², with projection over 150ft from the fixture position. It is excellent for illuminating task areas where a high intensity of light is required.

PORTABLE SALT WATER / MARINE APPROVED FLOODLIGHTING FOR HAZARDOUS OFFSHORE LOCATIONS

The offshore, portable lighting package uses two 400W metal halide floodlights attached to an aluminum tripod / cart frame and illuminates approximately 20,000ft². The package is designed to be a task-light, where the operator will target floodlights directly to a work area. Dual 400W metal halide lights deliver both high intensity and a wide volume of floodlighting to their targets.

The floodlight system can be supplied to customer's required operating voltage. 50Hz or 60Hz systems are available; standard is 120VAC, 60Hz.

The system comes with 50ft of lamp cord and is equipped with an explosion-proof rated 15A, 125VAC plug. The aluminum tripod / cart has an adjustable height of up to 8ft and can withstand winds exceeding 50mph.
