A COMPANY WITH A TRADITION

The Cooper Crouse-Hinds GmbH brand CEAG and the term 'safety' have been practically synonymous since 1906. The Concordia Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft, for short CEAG, set standards with its lamps for use in mines susceptible to firedamp. In 1912 a CEAG lamp was awarded a prize for being the "safest mining lamp in the world". The company operates globally and produces intrinsically safe interface modules, explosion-protected luminaires, emergency lighting luminaires, terminal boxes, switchgears and plugs and sockets, that were specially designed for use under severe ambient conditions, such as those encountered, in particular, in the offshore industry.

CEAG products meet all the requirements made on a component for use in the industrial field. The eLLK 92 series of fluorescent light fittings, for example, was tested by the ERA, an independent testing authority, and deemed to be suitable for unrestricted use in offshore installations. The CEAG products have, of course, been certified in accordance with the current standards, e.g. ATEX, IEC, EN or UL, and can, therefore, be used all over the world.
