Small - powerful - safe!
The new Xenon torchlight, the stabex mini II

A small but powerful light for hazardous areas: although it only measures 154mm x 34mm, the maximum axial luminous intensity of the Stabex mini II is >4000 cd. This lightweight torchlight - it only weighs 135g with batteries - featuring a micro Xenon incandescent lamp gives off a beam of white light with a luminous intensity of 1 lux and measuring 80cm in diameter, even at a distance of 15m. Power is supplied by 2 dry cells that operate for ca. Eight hours. To switch it on and off, simply turn the headpiece. The light beam can be adjusted by turning the headpiece further. Thanks to the non-slip structure of the surface of the handle, this can be done with one hand, even when wearing safety gloves; this gives you more freedom and safety. And when it is no longer needed, thanks to the wide clip made of stainless steel, it can be stowed safely in your pocket or in the holder.

As it has been certified to ATEX for use in potentially explosive gas atmospheres in Zones one and two and potentially explosive dust atmospheres in Zones 21 and 22, this torchlight can be used in these hazardous environments. The black housing in the degree of protection IP66 is made of aluminium and polyester with a scratchproof mineral glass lens and is almost impervious to harsh environmental conditions such as heat and cold, water and dust.

Therefore, this torchlight is excellently suited for inspection and maintenance work in industrial environments, for example, in the chemical/petrochemical industries or in the pharmaceutical industry. As it is a handy and reliable source of light, it is also used for averting dangers by emergency services, for example by fire services, the police, technical support organizations, the Red Cross and the army.
