IMT is introducing a new and innovative LED luminaire called Aquarius ILED indication/signalisation. It is an extension of the helideck status light systems range and will be carried in addition to the existing Aquarius IQL55. The newly developed luminaire is a low-energy luminaire and will be applied as perimeter lighting, particularly in the offshore and oil and gas industries.
The demand for energy-saving lighting is increasing rapidly. The Aquarius ILED has been specifically designed for unmanned platforms and helidecks for which the wattage needs to be minimal. The maintenance-free and sealed-for-life luminaire has a life expectancy of 50,000 burning-hours.
Two models are available: the multi-voltage model and the 24VDC version. The 24VDC has been specifically designed for connection to a UPS system. The luminaire, which can be used both stand-alone and as part of the helideck system, complies with CAA (CAP437), ICAO (Annex 14) and IMO (ModuCode) .
