Easy-to-handle, Robust Light for use in Ex zone 1

The explosion protected hand lamp ToughLux (type 6149) is suitable for ambient temperatures between -20°C and +50 °C and can be installed in zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas. The units are IP66/67 protected. Equipped with an aluminum base and a polycarbonate housing pipe, the hand lamp weighs less than one kilogram and can easily be carried along by service staff.
Its ergonomically shaped handle features roll-away protection, and its suspension hook is equipped with an adjustable locking mechanism. Moreover, the light can be secured in a fixed position by means of a spring clip with a magnetic base in order to illuminate a workspace or a machine. Its cold cathode tubes offer more than 50,000 hours of lifetime and provide a high luminous flux. Available with 2 or 4 tubes, the lights come in five versions for different nominal voltages (12 V AC, 12 V DC, 24 V AC, 24 V DC, 110-254 V AC). They can be equipped with an optional stainless steel wire guard to protect them against rugged environments.
