Air Partner PLC is pleased to announce that its application to become a registered FPAL (First Point Assessment) supplier has been successful.
The pre-eminent global private aviation company is now listed as a provider of freight and passenger air transport services with the UK and Netherlands oil and gas supply chain database.
Air Partner's decision to apply for FPAL vendor approval resulted from its successful participation as an inaugural exhibitor at Offshore Europe last year where the company showcased its global commercial jets, private jets and freight charter services as well as its emergency planning and travel divisions.
Mark Briffa, Chief Operating Officer, told Offshore Technology: "We are delighted to be featured on FPAL, which is recognised as a key tool used by oil and gas purchasers to identify potential suppliers when awarding contracts. Although Air Partner is already an established provider of aviation services to many of the energy industry’s major players, we are looking forward to establishing close working relationships with new clients seeking a trusted and reliable aviation supplier."
Aircraft charter is as intrinsic to the oil and gas industry as the fuel extracted and when speed is of the essence, it is often the only solution to keep production rolling.
Over the past year, London Gatwick-based Air Partner has sourced creative and cost-effective solutions to fly spare parts (from gas generators to handheld oil rig spares), engineers, executives, VIPs and large groups. Flights are frequently urgent 'go now' operations flying people and parts into remote regions, or evacuating them from hostile environments or natural disasters.
Air Partner has a proven record of operating to the highest standards and has passed every safety audit ever carried out by external regulators, including corporate safety auditors and security services. It operates a 24-hour office-based Operations centre 365 days a year and has an in-house IATA travel consultancy which organises connecting flights to link with charters, accommodation and transfers.
The Air Partner Group is the world's leading supplier of bespoke aviation charter with 23 offices in 15 countries spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.
