Offshore inspections and surveys

Atlas Access offers a broad range of inspection and survey services including non-destructive testing (NDT), MPI, DPI, EDDY, UT, RT, borescope inspection, visual inspection and MPI inspection of welds.

We have experience inspecting offshore platforms, marine vessels, drilling rigs, stacks and chimneys, cranes and derricks, hulls, tanks and FPSOs and offer photographic and video inspection / surveys.

In addition, we can inspect pipelines, pressure vessels, as well as inspecting and evaluating coatings. Bolt tensioning and torque tests can be provided.

Maintenance and repairs for offshore structures

We have the capability to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of structures, equipment and vessels, including offshore production and drilling platforms, marine vessels, FPSOs, hulls and tanks, pipelines, jetties, power stations and refineries.

Risk-assessed offshore lifting services

Each offshore lift is assessed (routine and non-routine lifts) and lifting plan is developed to risk assess and carry out lifts in safe, efficient and effective manner. Our techniques have been proved on a number of onshore and offshore projects, and have helped our clients to deliver on time and budget and to the highest industry standards.

Our lifting services can help you to:

Offshore fabrication, structural welding, and pipe welding and installation

We offer fabrication, structural welding, and pipe welding and installation, as well as a variety of specialist welding services such as MIG, TIG, arc welding and plasma and oxy cutting. PEX pipe fitting and MS and copper pipe fitting can be provided, as can wall bracket / flange positioning.

Offshore confined space entry, standby and rescue services

Atlas Access specialises in the management, planning and execution of works in confined space. We have the means of access and safety equipment to perform any work scope within confined space classified areas.

We can be engaged as a third-party consultant to risk assess your confined space entry (CSE), develop job specific entry procedures including the Job Safety Analyses (JSA) or Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) under which you can work or, alternatively, we provide equipment and personnel to supervise and/or standby rescue your team. We also handle the full scope.

Atlas CSE experts specialises in preparation (initial gas testing, ventilation, lightning and initial entry) as well as with CSE, continuous atmospheric monitoring and standby rescue (breathing apparatus).

Industrial coating, painting and blasting services

Atlas Access’s trained technicians have experience in alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane and coal-tar epoxy coatings. We have successfully applied non-skid deck coatings and water borne epoxy coatings for a variety of clients. Anti-fouling paint application, emulsion finish systems, membrane applications and touch-up paint repairs can also be catered for.

Geotechnical services

Due to our advanced rope access techniques and wide experience, we are capable of working in remote areas on steep, vertical and overhanging cliffs / terrain to deliver results in a short period of time. Services available include permanent rock anchorage, soil nailing, sprayed concrete, rock fall prevention meshing and high energy impact fences, pressure pointing and rock drilling, helicopter lifting, etc.
