FoundOcean, the subsea and offshore cementing specialist for the global energy construction industries, has successfully completed five FMD projects, and foundation pile grouting for Petrobel Tuna platform, Maersk Halfdan and BP Norge Vahall.

Micoperi chose FoundOcean for the grouting of four skirt piles at Petrobels’ Tuna Field Development Project, a new four-legged platform at approximately 82.5m water depth in the Mediterranean Sea, Egypt.

Heerema contracted FoundOcean to grout 12 skirt piles at the Maersk Olie og Gas Halfdan Phase 4 development project in the Danish Sea at 43m water depth.

The Valhall Field is located in block 2/8 of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, in approximately 74m water depth. The jacket was fabricated by Aker Kværner with primary and secondary FoundOcean male 2in grout receptacles located on both jacket frames compatible with the ROV-deployed female grout coupler.

Saipem contracted FoundOcean in 2009 to pile grout eight sleeves for the BP Norge Valhall redevelopment project. At the time, the Crux seal and subsequent grout plug failed and grouting operations on the final sleeve were abandoned. FoundOcean returned to the jacket to complete pile grouting in June 2010.

FoundOcean also completed five FMD projects in June.
