Routine electrical and annual thermal imaging surveys have now become much safer, thanks to C.T.i CYCLOP's safety sight glass inspection windows.

Since 2002 Geo Therm Ltd has conducted offshore thermal imaging surveys to non-invasively detect failing and overheating equipment before a downtime incident occurs. After successful evaluation, we now market and fit the CTi Cyclops infrared inspection windows. The inspection window units are designed for safety and security, incorporating a lockable security plate using tamper proof screws, and specially formulated optics provide an integrally safe and sealed weatherproof barrier to meet IP65 standards.

As the naked eye can not see infrared radiation (unless a failing component is glowing cherry red), the installation of CTi inspection window into any MCC will immediately promote a safer working environment for those conducting daily routine electrical checks and annual thermal imaging surveys. Installation is quick and improvement to offshore PM's and safety protocols are immediate as is offshore production, since visual and infrared acuity is achieved without the need to isolate and defeat safety interlocks, moreover eliminating the need to open and expose work-crew to live electrics and arc flash explosions.
