Another mile stone reached with the acquisition of a long wave-length NEC thermal imaging TH5104 camera, this brings to a total of four thermal infrared cameras Geo Therm Ltd can now deploy to their UK and international clients. The purchase of this new NEC thermal imaging camera eliminates the requirement for the UK's dti export licenses necessary for short wave cameras when operating internationally, accelerating survey requests to mobilisation times.
Geo Therm Ltd's non-invasive thermal imaging electrical and mechanical 'hot-spot' surveys can now be conducted in long, mid and shortwave infrared wavelengths, to suit client and specialist application needs. Using any one of the thermal imaging cameras allied with dedicated analysis software and performed by experienced ASNT personnel will enhance offshore production and drilling rig preventative maintenance regimes by detecting faulty and overheating equipment before a unscheduled shutdown occurs.
