RIS Offers Integrated Asset Management Session at AOG 2011

The global approach to IAM of offshore facilities in previous years has been somewhat determined by market trends. However, with more recent changes in the regulatory climate the safety and integrity of an installation is expected to be subject to increasingly stringent legislative requirements. This presents some significant challenges ahead to the stakeholders in the oil and gas industry, for example:

  • Increasing regulatory pressure
  • Moves to higher risk, more marginal fields, and logistically challenging production locations
  • Increasing pressure on E&P operators to demonstrate reliability, dependability and enhanced management of risk

All of these factors are driving attention to improving the visibility and control behind the manner in which high-risk capital assets are managed and maintained.

Hosted by Rig Inspection Services, join us for a review of the current and future direction the industry is taking to manage the risk, but also to exploit the competitive advantage available to those who achieve best in class.

Australasian Oil & Gas (AOG) conference and exhibition is taking place on 23-25 February 2011 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre in Perth, Australia.
