Safway has one of the largest in-house safety and engineering departments in the industry, specifically in place to ensure a project is designed properly and executed safely. Useful for the unique designs of each offshore rig, Safway's engineering department utilizes the latest technology, including CAD, and a specialized group of programs, along with 3D modeling. Scaffold project management system

Safway has all of your project management needs taken care of in order to track labor and parts and cut total project costs. The Safway tracking system (STS) is an exclusive scaffold management system that captures and generates real-time data about your project's equipment, labor and productivity. This Safway-exclusive technology can increase labor productivity, manage project timetables, manage labor and inventory, and control project costs.

Specialized scaffolding crew for the offshore industry

In addition to engineering, safety and project management, Safway can provide its own specialized, offshore-trained crews to erect and dismantle scaffold. Because they're experienced in offshore work, our crews can stay on the job site until the project is complete.

Suspended access system for unique offshore access

Safway's QuikDeck™ suspended access system is our most unique access solution and perfect for an offshore rig, and Safway is the only place to find it. QuikDeck is a modular platform system that is easy to install, safe for workers and more economical than traditional scaffolding or access systems.

QuikDeck can be built in the air or on the ground and raised or lowered into place, wherever access is needed. QuikDeck can also be used in conjunction with all of Safway's other scaffolding products.

On traditional offshore oil rigs, QuikDeck can be suspended from the underside to provide access below the deck. The high load capacities of the platforms allow for any type of work to take place, while on a flat, stable surface. QuikDeck erects and dismantles quicker than traditional scaffold, producing lower costs in labor and a reduction in project time, getting crews home quicker.

Safway's mast climbers, construction hoists, transport platforms and material hoists run on rigid masts that are tied into the offshore rig. A complete 'turnkey' service, Safway can safely and efficiently transport crews and materials from one level of the rig to the next.

Adaptable offshore scaffold for rigs

For years, Safway's SafLock™ has been one of the most popular scaffold choices by offshore customers, whether for new construction, repair or retrofit. Featuring an eight-point connection rosette, SafLock is connected with locking pins, which means the system has no loose fittings, such as nuts, bolts or clamps.

SafLock has become a popular choice on offshore rigs because of its safe pin-lock system and its adaptability to the different challenges that the architecture of an offshore rig brings. With SafLock horizontal and diagonal members can be individually removed and connected after the system has been erected.
