OIL FIELD EQUIPMENT

Himech has worked with oil field equipment since 1985. Himech supplies vertical silos, field silos, pressure tanks, surge tanks / steady flow separators, silo loaders, batch mixers, trip tanks, precision slurry mixing system, hoppers, cement trucks, bulk haulers for the cementing operations and bulk handling systems.

The company also offers a range of mud tanks, mud agitators and mud mixing guns for use in solid control and other mud-based operations.

VERTICAL SILOS / FIELD SILOS

Vertical silos are required for both cement and additive storage applications for onshore and offshore drilling operations.

Field silos have some innovative features including stable height-to-weight ratios, a low ground pressure when fully loaded and an efficient aeration system. Oversize discharge piping ensures high-speed unloading while working in pneumatic discharge systems. The field silo's available capacity is 20t, 50t, 100t, 120t and 150t.

Himech also supplies custom-made silos according to the client's capacity requirements.

SURGE TANKS / STEADY FLOW SEPARATOR

The steady flow separator is designed to discharge bulk cement at a regulated reduced pressure to the slurry mixing system. This provides a steady and constant flow of cement with a minimum amount of dusting required, resulting in consistent slurry properties that can also work as a gravity feed system when required. The capacities available are 70ft³ and 100ft³.

SILO LOADERS

The silo loader has a 2m³ capacity pressure tank which is used for loading of cement / additives to the field silos. The 2m³ capacity is ideal for offshore applications however for onshore applications the higher capacity silo loaders is also often installed.

CEMENT TRUCKS / BULK TRUCKS

Himech was the first pioneer in India to introduce cement trucks with complete pressure vessels, surge tanks, compressor and intermediate piping to transport bulk cement for oil and gas well cementing operations.

Bulk trucks are used for faster and economical transfer of bulk cement from bulk handling plants to sites and oil wells via the cement-pumping unit at a constant rate of discharge.

Cement trucks are available in 8t / 10t / 15t capacities with or without compressor and surge tanks. Cement trucks are also used as a carrier for transport of dry bulk cement from centralised bulk handling plant to drill sites.

BATCH MIXERS

Batch mixers are today highly essential in cementing services, as they ensure cement slurries of consistent densities. The cement produced is homogenous (having no lumps) and has a high water content.

The capacities available are: 2.5BBL, 5BBL / 10BBL, 20BBL and 50 BBL.

CEMENT BULK HANDLING PLANT

Custom-built cement bulk handling plants are manufactured as per customer's requirement. These small capacity plants of 50t to 200t are suitable for drill site applications.

The large capacity plants of 500t to 1,000t are suitable for a centralized facility.
