GRE PIPING

The GRE piping products also have applications in the gas, water, industrial and chemical industries and are designed to operate at temperature ratings of up to 220°F (104.4°C) and pressure rating of up to 4,000psi, depending on resin system.

Unlike steel pipes, GRE requires no protective coating and their use reduces maintenance cost caused by corrosion. The GRE pipes are lightweight approximately a 1/5th the weight of steel and are easy to install, with no hot work required for fabrication or installation.

LOW LIFE CYCLE COSTS

The cost benefit of using GRE is that Life Cycle Costs (LCC) are lower than other competing pipeline material options. When GRE is compared to Sch.40 and 80 carbon steel, stainless and other exotics, GRE has the lower material cost.
