Tekmar Subsea manufactures a wide range of pipeline repair clamps and pipeline connectors. Tekmar Subsea is also a world leader in the production of subsea sealing solutions for j-tubes, either with diver installation or ROV activation.
As part of Tekmar Subsea's duty of care to the environment we believe that no pipeline or cabling system should be installed without adequate protection or without an excellent repair and damage recovery plan.
Tekmar is a world leader in the supply of split sleeve pipeline repair clamps. Since 2000 we have supplied over 20 systems to major operators around the world. Our pipeline repair clamp provides a field-proven solution for sealing subsea pipelines using split sleeve technology. Three variations of the clamps are available:
Tekmar Subsea offers a complete service from design, production to offshore installation. Client benefits include:
The TEKGRIP® flanged pipeline connector can be diver or ROV-installed and used for permanent subsea applications. The pipeline connector is easily installed and can be attached to a subsea pipeline in-situ without the need for expensive hyperbaric welding.
The pipeline connector can also be released, recovered to the surface, and reinstalled without having to cut the pipeline. The pipeline connector is fitted with high-integrity locking collets capable of withstanding full-end cap line pressure.
The pipeline connector's specifications are as follows:
Tekmar has an extensive track record in supplying a wide range of clamping systems, designed specifically to suit clients' individual project requirements. Clamp designs vary from split frictional clamps for low axial loads to modules fitted with the TEKGRIP collet system for increased holding capability.
Client benefits:
Clamping solutions can be fitted with seal assemblies, typically used on riser / umbilical hang-off systems where there is a requirement to seal the annulus between the riser and the j-tube. Pipeline recovery clamps are supplied, which can be installed subsea by a ROV using either hydraulic intervention or alternatively via an ISO 13628-8 class IV torque tool.
Tekmar Subsea designs and manufactures a wide range of standard and bespoke subsea sealing solutions to suit clients' specific requirements. Elastomeric seals are manufactured within the Tekmar Group by Tekmar Polyurethanes to a high standard of quality and precision.
Subsea sealing solutions can be provided for applications with operating temperatures between -40°C to +180°C using elastomeric seals. Higher temperatures can be accommodated using graphite seals.Sealing solutions can be achieved for pressures between 0 to 500bar.
Seal activation methods can vary from an active design, which incorporates a self-sealing principle requiring no external activation force, to mechancial or hydraulic methods.
Tekmar supplies an extensive amount of sealing solutions for subsea applications. In this instance, seals can be fitted with ROV torque tool receptacles or alternatively ROV hot stabs and receptacles for hydraulic activation. Examples of typical sealing solutions include:
