Since Brück was founded in the last century the specialists from Ensheim have come a long way: as well as the present-day Brück GmbH which has developed from the original ironware manufacturing shop, there is Brück Walztechnik (rolling technologies) and the independent Brück Steel Trading Company Ltd. In addition the Ensheim company furthermore has 10 legally independent sales and production locations in Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. Aachen is the seat of a subsidiary which coordinates the company’s activities in the USA.

The company is still in family ownership. Today the fortunes of the 'Global Players' are in the hands of the third generation within the family. With its approximately 600 employees the Brück group generates an average annual turnover of about € 75 million.

Expertise and quality ensures customer satisfaction

Of course expertise can be acquired through skill, hard work and – as is the case with the Ensheim company – through many years of experience coupled with an especially distinctive innovative ability and a high degree of knowledge of manufacturing materials. Added to this is Brück’s steady hand when selecting and appointing competent staff at all levels within the company. This being the case success is inevitable. And this again is reflected in the quality of the products and services.

Brück’s customers know and value the complete range of rings, flanges and forged parts in standard versions. The Ensheim plant is, however, held in particular esteem for its special products which are manufactured to customer specifications and meet all customer requirements. Jürgen Bresser, CEO of Brück Rohrverbindungen GmbH: 'If you were to ask me what Brück produces, then I would say: Anything which is a special product and round, but not pipes. And also anything which can be milled on our machines.' And Volker Datzko, one of the general managers at Brück GmbH in Ensheim, adds: 'We manufacture hot-rolled, seamless rings and flanges to customer drawings and specifications in accordance with all standards from medium to large dimensions, with external diameters up to 5.300 mm and with a maximum weight of 25 tons per piece. A wide range of special forged parts enables us to support our customers in their fields of application with solutions which cannot be matched by our competitors. We supply everything in approx. 1.000 different quality grades.'

Satisfying customers’ wishes is a daily goal at Brück

Availability and quick delivery based on an extensive stock of pre-materials contributes significantly to customer satisfaction at Brück. The company has a permanent stock of approx. 14.000 tons of steel in 400 different grades. Brück’s quality management system has been approved by the following companies and institutes: Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, German Lloyd, TÜV (including Guidelines for Presses 97/23/EG, Appendix 1, Section 4.3), DNV, Bureau Veritas, Norsok, Aramco, Shell, Lurgi, Bechtel, KWM etc.. In 1992 Brück was the first company in the Federal State of Saarland whose QM system received DIN ISO 9002 certification. Further accreditations according to QSP4A, AD-WO and TRD-100 are for Brück just a matter of course.

If we look at Brück and see that all the branches of the company are interlocked, we can then understand what it is that makes Brück so innovative in the field of special products. One example of this is the specially developed section 'Quick Delivery Department'. If a customer is under extreme time pressure, Brück is at hand with its team of specialists to help. Within 10 to 15 working days the Ensheim plant can manufacture all kinds of special parts.
