DSAW PIPES - DOUBLE SUBMERGED ARC WELDED PRODUCTS

Supported by the most powerful edge crimping and 'O' press facilities in the world, Corus' UOE manufacturing process enables the company to supply pipes featuring walls of optimum thickness and small diameters.

The dimensionally and mechanically compact nature of our pipeline products guarantees significant savings at the project design stage, irrespective of working conditions (e.g. ultra deep water), stresses (offshore equipment fatigue) or ground-breaking technology.

The company's DSAW pipe range includes products with strength grades of up to API 5L X80 and above, diameters of 16in to 44in (406.4mm to 1,118mm OD) and thicknesses up to 2in (50mm).

HFI PIPES - 20in HIGH-FREQUENCY INDUCTION PRODUCTS

Developed specifically for use in high-integrity onshore and offshore applications, Corus' 20in High-Frequency Induction (HFI) welded line-pipes can create substantial savings.

HFI pipes help to reduce costs at the design and installation stages of an offshore project while also maintaining exceptional product integrity.

Corus offers a total supply chain as well as leading knowledge of modern pipe welding technology and advance steel making practices.

The company's HFI pipe range includes products with strength grades up to API 5L X70, sour service up to NACE pH3, low temperature toughness, diameters from 8in to 20in (219.1mm to 508mm OD) and thicknesses from 4mm to 16mm.

HIGH PRESSURE / TEMPERATURE PIPE-IN-PIPE INSULATION

The company has developed sophisticated pipe-in-pipe insulation equipment that provides high levels of insulation in high pressure / high temperature environments, eliminates upheaval buckling and maintains its structural integrity even in the deepest of waters.

LARGE DIAMETER DSAW PIPES

Corus' three-roll bending process enables the manufacture of specialised products for use in LNG liquefaction plants, petrochemical processing and power generation facilities, as well as trunk mains for the water industry, onshore / offshore structural applications and long sea outfalls.

We can manufacture hot-formed products to clients' specific dimensions in a range of strength grades up to API 5L X60, as well as diameters of 18in to 84in (457mm to 2,134mm OD) and thicknesses up to 30mm.

PIPE COATINGS FROM BSR PIPELINE SERVICES

Corus also offers pipe coating through BSR Pipeline Services, a joint-venture company with Ramco. Our pipe coatings can accommodate internal liquid epoxy coatings, external fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coatings and external three-layer polyolefin (polyethylene or polypropylene) coatings.
