GS-Hydro's technology for connecting pipes is based on flanges and pipe-end preparation machines, designed and developed in-house. The GS piping system consists of three innovative flange systems - the GS-37o and GS-90o flare flange systems and the GS retain ring system - which allow piping systems with working pressures from 10bar to 690bar and pipe diameters between 16mm and 600mm to be assembled without welding.

RETAIN RING PIPE CONNECTION SYSTEM

Retain Ring pipe connection system is used for low and high pressure piping applications with working pressures as high as 690bar and pipes with diameters between 26mm and 355mm.

37° FLARE FLANGE SYSTEM

37° Flare Flange System provides a reliable high-pressure (210bar - 350/420bar) joint for pipes up to a diameter of 90mm. The 37o system can also be utilised for low-pressure (<50bar) for pipe sizes from 25mm to 273mm).

90° FLARE FLANGE SYSTEM

90° Flare Flange System is utilised for low-pressure (1bar - 40bar) piping systems with pipe diameters as large as 608mm.

TUBE CLAMPS

Tube clamps conform to DIN 3015 and are designed to support all pipes, tubes and hoses up to 12in NB (324mm OD). The clamps consist of two polypropylene, polyamide, aluminum or rubber clamp halves, held to a steel welding-plate or mounting rail by one or more bolts through a cover-plate.

BALL VALVES

Ball valves are designed and manufactured according to the highest standards. Ball valves are available from a bore size of 4mm to 25mm. End connections range from ⅛in to 1½in male or female thread; or 6mm-38mm DIN 2353 tube fittings.

BITE TYPE FITTINGS

Bite type fittings (profile ring) fittings comply with DIN 2353/DIN EN ISO 8343-1. Bite type (profile ring) fittings are available in carbon steel and stainless steel.

JIC 37° FLARE FITTINGS

JIC 37° flare fittings comply with SAEJ 514 (ISO 8434-2). In addition to basic JIC 37° flare fittings, GS-Hydro also delivers special JIC 37° flare fittings - either with or without an O-ring - which are type approved by Det Norske Veritas and specified by NORSOK (Norsok Spec. Class FS70, IS70) to be used offshore.

HYDRAULIC HOSE

The hydraulic hose program from Gates consists of a complete range of hose and hose couplings which include BSP, NPT, JIC, metric SAE 3000/6000 and GS-Retain Ring Flanges to various applications. GSHydro's hoses meet several industry standards and have the necessary type approvals from all major classification companies. In addition, the GS-Hydro office in Norway also keeps the MED quality certificate - EC from DNV.

Industrial Hose, now stocked in all GS-Hydro's branches in Norway, consist of a complete selection of hose types from Trelleborg, Superlas IPE and others cover most of the applications within the land-based and the offshore industry.

Oilfield hoses from gates consists of a complete hose and coupling range for the offshore industry. GS-Hydro Norge's branch office in Stavanger is certified by Gates as "Hose-Assembler". This quality certification from Gates also includes pressure testing.
